Bay window interior with grill and buddy seat

As you can see, Matthew’s Bay interior was in a bit of a sorry state when it arrived with us… old bay interior

As part of a couple who like to cook, Matthew wanted a layout that allowed for a grill as well as the usual hob and sink. As the old layout worked for them we came up with a bespoke design that allowed for the combination grill/hob and fridge in the front ‘pod’ and then regular cupboards by the rock ‘n’ roll bed with a wardrobe to the rear. To throw a spanner in the works – the van has an outside gas locker, so we had to design the cupboards around that, must say, it is a handy feature though.

Matthew and wanted as much storage space as possible, so they opted for a buddy seat cupboard as well as a between seat drink holder/storage cubby console. I don’t think we’ve ever squeezed so much into a Bay!

The colour chosen was Farrow & Ball ‘Elephant’s Breath’ and the worktops are oak.

The bed was upholstered in vinyl and the front seats re-upholstered to match.
